SOUTHWEST

There is a reason the Southwest region of the U.S. draws in artists of all types. Landscape photographers, water color or oil painters, cinematographers, and some of my all-time favorite authors have created amazing works inspired by this region. For myself, I am drawn to the strangely comforting desolation, nestled up against an unmatched natural beauty, warm light, and a calm, slow pace of life. Sandstone cliffs and mind-boggling rock formations towering over old growth pinyon and juniper forests, meandering washes and cottonwood groves, and a slew of impressively evolved desert flora and fauna living in variable extremes make this a training ground in the art of observation.

Although I do not spend as much time in this region as I would like, the time I have spent here has been intimate and meaningful. In addition to the images found in this collection, my IMAGES FROM THE SADDLE book project will include many southwestern born photos.

Thank you for taking the time to view these images. If you are interested in purchasing custom-framed, fine art prints of the scenes below, please reach out or visit PRINTS for more information on availability and pricing.
